Hepburn and Tracy

From her autobiographical look at her life All About Me after recalling the death of Spencer Tracy Katharine Hepburn shares “When people write and ask me about Love. I think to myself. Well, I’ve been lucky. I’ve really know a lot about Love. Thank you Spencer.”

This feeling of life being lived, heart wide open and stretched to the limits of experience is the way of great love. We feel lucky to have been met in this way and grateful for what we gained from the interaction.

Love is ever expanding possibilities for growth.

Thank you Katharine Hepburn for sharing a bit of your experience.

Lots of Love,

Melanie

PS.  Spencer Tracy’s final performance opposite Katharine Hepburn reading William Rose’s beautiful words in Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner which won Academy Awards for best original screenplay and best actress cut to the heart of anyone who has ever questioned love’s power to transcend fear.
