There is a garden growing and flourishing brilliantly within the ground of your being utilizing divine intelligence symbiotically blossoming in service to the highest expression of who you are. This garden is nourished by Love.
In the preface to Emanuel Swedenborg’s Divine Love and Wisdom the Latin Translator of the text talks about the sketch of a Roman Garden that adorned the title page of each of Swedenborg’s books under the phrase Cura Et Labore “with care and work.” The image of a beautiful garden with a cherub like Angel watering the plants tending to the well loved garden’s growth and harmony strikes to the core of any process.
It is a reminder of the wisdom and grace that exists when discipline is applied to commitment in realizing the fruits of our labor. It represents the opportunity for us to make manifest the joys of a life fully lived in divine Love. When we enrich each moment with care and work, making conscious choices. Free of the energies that keep us bound. We allow nature to take its course in harmony without calling out the struggle, we effortlessly step into the full beauty of existence.
Move into the garden of your being remembering everything is as it is. You are exactly where you are supposed to be and you know absolutely how to tend to your needs.
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION
You are one hundred percent responsible for your experience. Not ninety two percent, Not ninety nine percent, One Hundred percent. In owning your place in the world you allow forgiveness to flow, you don’t get tripped up in blame and get weighed down by circumstance. One of the 12 steps in addiction recovery is to take a “fearless moral inventory” of your life to date and see where you could have made it easy for someone, where your particular choices opened the door for a particular behavior that was unwelcome.
“How many more times is (fill in the blank and it isn’t pretty) going to happen before I stand up for myself. Before I tell the truth. How many more times will a pattern repeat until I am ready to do things differently?” As Will Rogers said “don’t do the same thing and expect a different result. Do things differently. Get different results.”
In the midst of your life is a space of stillness. A space where you can hear everything that is in service to that beautiful garden of your being. Living from that space delivers a life to its purpose.
Detach from the person, object, relationship or circumstance that seems to be causing you troubles, release the thinking that seems to keep you stuck in the drama of the situation and listen for an answer. Remember, stuck is just another word for there is another way. Whether it is to break free from the falseness of anyone or anything that is too small for you, or it is to think Lovingly about the situation presenting and deeply listen to what is in your heart whatever the answer no matter how it sounds because it is your answer, uniquely individualized for your circumstance. Listen as if your life depended on it.
Don’t let other people hook you into their unloving fearful thinking tempting you out of your loving center. If something sounds judgmental it is. If it sounds nuts. If it feels crazy making. If you feel tense. You got it. When a decision is built on fear “its seeming certainty is but a cloak for the uncertainty it would conceal. It needs irrational defense because it is irrational. And its defense seems strong, convincing, and without a doubt because of all the doubting underneath.”
Do not get caught in other people’s insanity, or more importantly, your own. Wash the entire story with Love and bare witness to the truth. When a decision is made in Love doubt ceases. Love brings peace of mind and a certainty of purpose. Move toward that sacred feeling of warmth in the embrace of the truth. Move toward the light of Love.
For the next 100 days
I am going to consider the possibility that there is another way.
I won’t talk about war, I will feel peace.
I won’t talk about what isn’t working. I will experience what is.
I won’t complain about what people don’t do. I will appreciate what they do.
Cura Et Labore “with care and work”
I am going to allow myself to be uplifted.
And. Be willing to see change. In a new light.
In what’s remembered.
LOVING THOUGHTS TO REMEMBER
As a friend of mine likes to say “don’t settle for the mild river of misery.” Become a tuning device allowing love to flow through you and radiate from you expanding outward without reserve.
Flip the switch, ignite the field, walk into your truth.
